Established for over 25 years, Vila Chaumieres restaurant is renowned throughout Port Vila for it’s beautiful ambience and excellent food, specialising in fresh local seafood. Dining on candlelit waterside tables protected by a thatched roof, coconut palms reflected in the floodlit waters, it is a truly magical experience.
Recently purchased by the original owner’s daughter and her husband, the restaurant has been refurbished whilst maintaining the excellent reputation and quality of food and service that Vila Chaumieres is renowned for.
Vila Chaumieres is renowned for their signature dishes - Vila Chaumieres' Famous Coconut Crab, Coconut Crusted Prawns, Seafood Pasta, Chargrilled Prime Vanautu Eye Fillet with green peppercorn sauce, Fis Long Sel Kokonas and Bea’s Beef Wellington. Menu favourites created by the original owner, Bea Harmshaw, return frequently to the specials menu along with new dishes made with seasonal fresh local produce.
The restaurant is open for lunch (10:00am – 2:00pm) and dinner (6:00pm til late) throughout the year.
