Port Vila

Eratap Beach Resort is a small boutique resort hidden among the coastal forests of Eratap. Just 20 minutes from the heart of Port Vila and encompassing an entire peninsula with three separate beaches and eight acres of tropical gardens it is a complete natural sanctuary. Surrounded by pristine reefs, uninhabited islands, azure lagoons and great surf, it is a haven for those who seek adventure or complete relaxation.

The resort opened in 2007 and was Vanuatu’s first ever high end resort. Since then, the Resort has accumulated many national and international awards. In 2016 it was the first ever Pacific Island resort to make the world's top 25 small hotels list in the TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice awards.

The resort has just 12 waterfront villas so privacy and personalised service is assured. Choose from 1, 2 or 3 bedroom villas or one of the 4 stunning plunge pool villas. Each villa has an en-suite bathroom and an external shower courtyard. There are separate pavilions for both the bedroom and lounge room. The lounge room is equipped with TV, DVD, iPod dock, bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and free WiFi.

The resort’s swimming pool and entertainment area is located at the middle beach and has stunning views across to Castaway Island. Guests can enjoy food and beverage service to the pool and relax in the large thatched pool lounge area.

For those wanting to pamper themselves the Resort’s Day Spa sits right on Etlau Lagoon. A beautiful open plan building that creates a peaceful haven within which to enjoy a range of treatments. Open daily, the Spa is not to be missed.

Situated on the main beach and facing the setting sun is the Resort’s renowned restaurant. The restaurant offers a range of dining options including dining right on the beach to truly soak up the Pacific ambience. The menu is built around the wonderful fresh produce available in the region. Freshly caught fish and lobster, Vanuatu’s famous organic beef and fruit and vegetables that are grown locally. The restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience that compliments the stunning natural beauty that surrounds it.

The activities available at Eratap are second to none. The resort offers kayaking, snorkeling, surfing, fishing, free boating, uninhabited island picnics & BBQ’s, hiking and daily organized guided activities. The resort is superbly located to allow guests to easily indulge in all these pursuits or to just relax and take it all in. It is the only resort in Vanuatu that offers surfing and lagoon pursuits such as kayaking and paddle boarding.

The other great feature of this Resort is that it accepts families during the Australian and New Zealand school holiday periods. Whilst children must be over 7 years of age it is a wonderful opportunity for families to share a truly memorable holiday experience.

Eratap Beach Resort offers something for everyone and is a true slice of paradise.
